This is a great local Mexican food restaurant. It is a small place, with friendly staff speaking English and Spanish. The food is authentic, like what you would have at someone's house, which is appropriate since this is a little house.
I completely recommend this stop just off the highway for your road trips. -

The food speaks for itself! The flautas are incredible and reminds me of what I grew up with. The enchiladas are simple but to die for! The chips and salsa are fresh and authentic. The price makes me uncomfortable with how much you get for the price. Lala's could double the price and I would still be a patron!

Wasn't amazed by the food, It wasn't good. When it comes to Mexican I feel it's a hard one to mess up. I would not recommend this spot to anyone. The only good thing I have to say is the people are really really nice. So I feel bad making this review, but I came here because of reviews I saw and I would not come back. My food wasn't even warm. I've had good Mexican food and this was not it. Tasted like cardboard.

If you want AMAZING authentic Mexican food , go to LaLa's. I love all Mexican food and have tried every Mexican restaurant in Mt Pleasant. But LaLa's is the BEST! It's outside of mt pleasant off the interstate but I will tell you it is worth the drive!!! Give it a shot!!!

We driving to Dallas and decided to pull off in the middle of nowhere to eat som Authentic Mexican cuisine. Generous portions, very reasonable prices, and attentive service by sincerely nice people. This was my first time coming here (but not the last) the home made brisket soup was absolutely fantastic. This place been here 18years! I love hole in the wall places! Driving up it's scary looking and an average person would just turn around and leave!! The homemade tortillas are amazing!!! The goat tacos was Amazing!! I knocked off one star Becuz I wasn't a fan of the Rice and beans. They was both served kinda Cold! Everything else was Spot on!!
